La fête des Tabernacles.

Même époque que dans la loi (Nombres 29.12)

A la fête : Cette fête est supposée déjà connue.

Les mêmes sacrifices... que dans la fête de Pâques. Seulement, au lieu d'être répartis sur sept semaines, ils sont concentrés sur sept jours. La loi prescrivait l'offrande de 70 taureaux, 14 béliers, 98 agneaux et 7 boucs, durant la semaine que durait cette fête. Il n'y a ici que 49 taureaux, autant de béliers et 7 boucs. Pourquoi cette diminution ? Voir 46.15, note.

Quant au jour d'expiation qui précédait cette fête, nous avons vu qu'Ezéchiel l'a placé au commencement de l'année (versets 18 à 20). Il en est probablement de même du jour de sainte convocation, qu'annonçait le son des trompettes et, qui commençait l'année civile (Nombres 29.1) ; comparez verset 18. Ainsi aucune des anciennes fêtes n'est omise ou supprimée par Ezéchiel.
