Jérémie 3.25

Couchons-nous : acte moral et volontaire. Le prophète ne parle pas d'une dispensation de la justice divine envers les coupables, mais de l'humiliation à laquelle ils se condamnent eux-mêmes et s'invitent mutuellement. On dirait en français : s'ensevelir dans sa honte. Ils se jugent eux-mêmes afin d'échapper au jugement de Dieu.
