Plus les œuvres de Dieu sont connues, plus elles sont admirées. Et prier le Seigneur revient à considérer qu'Il est vraiment incomparable.

Nous devons manifester à Christ un fervent respect, lorsque nous Lui vouons notre adoration. Mais, hélas, cela ne se remarque pas beaucoup dans nos communautés, et avec quelle humilité devrions-nous nous approcher du Saint Trône ! Cette puissance fantastique qui a confondu les égyptiens dispersera les ennemis de l'église, pendant que ceux qui Lui font confiance Le rejoindront ; car la miséricorde et la vérité sont manifestes dans toutes Ses œuvres. Ses ordonnances sont éternelles : elles ne sont que justice et jugement !
