QUERELLE

La Bible rapporte plusieurs querelles dans l'histoire sainte (Ge 13:7 26:20,45:24, Ex 2:13, Le 24:10, Jug 8:1,2Sa 14:6 etc.).

--Loi sur les querelles (Ex 21:18 et suivant, De 25:1 et suivant). Le livre des Proverbes fait de nombreuses allusions aux querelles (Pr 6:14 10:12 13:10 15:18 23:29, etc., cf. Sir 28:8 et suivants). La femme querelleuse y est stigmatisée (Pr 19:13 21:9,19 25:24 27:15).

Dans le N.T. les querelles sont condamnées par l'apôtre Paul (Ga 5:20, Tit 3:2,2Ti 2:23 et suivant) et par Jacques (Jas 4:1).
