Grec : fais-moi comme l'un de tes mercenaires.

Amener le pécheur à sentir qu'il a perdu tous ses titres à être un enfant de Dieu, tel est l'effet de la vraie repentance.

Mais l'amour, qui renaît dans son cœur avec la repentance, lui inspire en même temps le désir de rentrer en grâce auprès de Dieu, d'être admis dans sa famille, fûtce à la dernière place.
