World English Bible The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!"

Septième trompette. Les chants dans le ciel. Ch. 11 :15-19

15 à 19 Le triomphe du règne de Dieu et du Christ, célébré par des chants célestes. Le temple ouvert.

De même que les événements annoncés par les sept trompettes formaient le contenu du septième sceau, (Apocalypse 8.1, note) de même les faits annoncés par la septième trompette sont tous ceux qui constituent les débuts de la lutte suprême. Cette lutte aboutira à "l'accomplissement du mystère de Dieu." Or l'ange avait déclaré que la septième trompette en donnerait le signal (Apocalypse 10.7)

Pour ces raisons, nous commençons ici, et non à verset 19, la section dans laquelle cette lutte est retracée. Les chants célestes (versets 15-18) ne sont pas tout le contenu de la septième trompette. Ils servent d'introduction au récit de la lutte, dont ils célèbrent par avance l'issue victorieuse.

Le texte reçu porte : "Les royaumes du monde." Il faut lire le royaume, la domination du monde entier est remis (grec "devenu") à Dieu et à son Christ, son Oint. (Actes 4.26)

C'est l'accomplissement de toutes les prophéties, et en particulier du Psaumes 2, où Dieu avait promis à son Oint "pour héritage les nations et pour sa possession les bouts de la terre." (verset 17)
