Ordre sur ordre..., règle sur règle... : en hébreu tsav latsav, tsar latsar, kav lakav, hav lakav. Ces mots, propres à imiter le langage d'un homme qui bégaie, ridiculisent le prophète et ses exhortations incessantes. Il a toujours quelque exigence nouvelle à ajouter aux précédentes et quelque nouveau reproche a leur adresser.

      Deutéronome 6
